POMS Traffic Plan 

FOLLOW ALL DIRECTIONS FROM HISD POLICE AND CROSSING GUARDS!

Coming from 610 (Green Arrows)?

• Turn right into the circular drive from Glenmont.

• Follow the lines of traffic until it stops, with the first car stopping at the far end of the circle, marked with red stars on the diagram above. 2-3 cars should proceed beyond the crosswalk.

• Do not stop your car on the crosswalk.

• Place your car in park and allow your child(ren) to exit the vehicle on the curb side. It is dangerous to exit from the driver side of the vehicle.

• Turn right into the circular drive from Glenmont.
  

• Wait patiently for cars ahead of you to unload. Do not attempt to pass vehicles in the drop-off lane.

• When exiting the school driveway, you may turn left or right.

Approaching the School on Glenmont from the East (Yellow Arrows)?

• Make a right turn into the first driveway of the HCC parking lot.

• Follow the cones around and stop adjacent to the crosswalk. 3-4 vehicles should be able to unload at one time in the area designated on the diagram above with a single red star.

• Place your car in park and allow your child(ren) to exit the vehicle on the driver side of the car. It is dangerous to exit from the passenger side of the vehicle.

• Wait patiently for cars ahead of you to unload. Do not attempt to pass vehicles in the drop-off lane.

• When exiting the HCC parking lot you may turn left or right.

• Do not U-turn on Glenmont.

• Avenue B is not a sanctioned drop-off location and Bellaire police are giving tickets to those who are parked illegally.

• The HCC Parking Lot is not available for parking. Your car will be towed.
