Get Ready to Get Colorful, Chargers!

Friday, November 13, 2026 | During the school day | Pin Oak campus

Pin Oak's annual Color Run is back! Students can enjoy music, friends, Kona Ice, a one-mile run or walk, and a colorful post-run party. Students need a paid ticket to participate.

Choose How to Participate

Color Thrower — $50

Throw provided color on runners and walkers during the run, then join the post-run Color Party. T-shirt included. Limited spots per grade level.

Runner / Walker — $25

Run or walk one mile through the colorful course, then join the post-run Color Party. T-shirt included.

Spectator — $5

Cheer from the bleachers and join the post-run Color Party. No T-shirt included. Spectators may wear PE uniforms or dance clothes.

Good to Know

Color Party: Color Throwers & Walker/Runner ticket holders can join the party in the middle of the field after the run. Individual color packets for the Color Party are sold separately for everyone, including Color Throwers.

What to wear: Color Throwers and Runners/Walkers receive an event T-shirt to wear with gym shorts. Sizes are first come, first served and cannot be guaranteed, so register early.

Kona Ice: Students can bring cash for treats priced at $4–$7.

Ticket Sales & Donations

Online: Buy tickets here through Tuesday, November 10 at 11:59 PM.

At school: Tickets will be sold during lunch Tuesday–Thursday, November 10–12. Spectator tickets will also be sold before school Friday, November 13.

Help another Charger participate: You can make a donation to cover another student's ticket through the order form.

Volunteers Needed!

Help make the Color Run a memorable day! Parent volunteers are needed for setup, color stations, course support, water, cleanup, and other event-day needs. Choose a shift that works for you. All volunteers must be HISD VIPS approved.
