POMS Color Run

2024-2025

Pin Oak's annual Color Run is returning on Friday, November 15, and your student will not want to be left out! 

Color Run is a fun run style event on Friday, November 15, where students can leave class to hang out, listen to music, visit the Kona Ice truck, run or walk around the track, and throw color on each other in the Post Run Color Party.

Options to Participate

• Color Throwers ($50) - limited spots per grade-level
  • Throw color (included) on Runners/Walkers during the run.
  • Participate in the Post Run Color Party after the run.
  • T-shirt is included for the run and are worn with gym shorts.
• Runners/Walkers ($25)
  • Run or walk 1 mile as Color Throwers bombard you with color.
  • Participate in the Post Run Color Party after the run.
  • T-shirt is included for the run and are worm with gym shorts.
• Spectators ($5)
  • Cheer on Runners/Walkers from the bleachers.
  • Participate in the Post Run Color Party after the run.
  • T-shirt is NOT included. Spectators may wear PE uniforms/dance clothes.
• Post Run Color Party
  • After the Color Run, join your friends in the middle of the field for a color party.
  • Purchase color bags to throw on your friends. Color bags are not included and must be purchased separately for all participants.
  • Your student must be a Color Thrower, Runner/Walker or Spectator to participate.

Registration for Color Throwers and Runner/Walkers includes a T-shirt. T-shirt size is not guaranteed and is first come, first served, so be sure to register early to get the size you want!

What To Expect

• All students participating in the POMS Color Run will have the opportunity to purchase Kona Ice, so please remind them to bring cash if they plan on purchasing a treat! Treats range from $4 to $7.

Ticket Sales

• Online sales end at 11:59 PM on Sunday, November 10.
• We will be selling tickets during lunch the week of November 11 on Monday - Wednesday (cash only). We will be selling Spectator tickets before school on Friday, November 15.
• If you'd like to make a donation to cover the cost of additional Pin Oak students to attend Color Run, please do so on the order form.
  

Volunteers

We need parent volunteers to help support the event. If you are VIPS approved and would like to volunteer at the Color Run, please click here to sign up.
