The Charger Commitment Campaign launches in just two days and will run October 1 through October 31. We will be raising funds for the 2024-2025 school year, ensuring that your donation will be used for your own student’s experience and education at Pin Oak Middle School.

We rely on the support of our Pin Oak families to help PTO fund all of the "extras" that make POMS the great school it is!

The deadline to register your daughter for POMS lacrosse is Tuesday, October 1. No registrations will be accepted after this date.

Please make sure you have completed the following for your daughter:

• Register and pay dues
• Register for/renew USA Lacrosse Membership
• Submit HISD physical form
• Download GameChanger app (invitations to join team will be sent Oct. 1)

Jersey orders will be placed shortly after Oct. 1st, so please make sure you have all requirements completed before the deadline.

Yearbook recognition ads are the perfect way to commemorate achievements and celebrate milestones. In addition, revenue from recognition ads help our school create a better yearbook. Purchase your adby January 31, 2025.

The school store is open for students during lunch. We have some new uniform items pictured above as well as novelty items for sale. The online school store is also open for your uniform needs. You will be notified when your order is ready for pick up and your student may pick up the items during lunch.

We still have some volunteer shifts available for the school store. Please sign up for the group (A or B)/day(s) that works best for you (shifts are every other week). All volunteers are required to be VIPS approved.

Join us on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at 5:30 PM in the POMS Cafeteria for an interest meeting to learn about the swim team. 

• Register your student on Aktivate (Register My Athlete) before the meeting. It really makes things easier on our coaches.
• Students need to be able to swim already  - this is not lessons. 
• Tryouts are just to make sure that they will be able to complete a 50 meter freestyle in 1 minute. 
• We welcome club swimmers! 

We really want to beat another middle school who shall be nameless, so please come out and join the team.

We are kicking off Dungeons & Dragons at Pin Oak this fall:

• We will meet two Wednesdays per month from 4:00 - 5:30 PM. 
• Our meetings will take place in the Pin Oak library

Parents can fill out this form to indicate their interest in their student participating.

The club welcomes players of all experience levels who have an enthusiasm for tabletop roleplaying games. We ask that players draft an origin story for a character they might want to play, and tell us why they are excited about playing Dungeons and Dragons.

No dance experience is required. All money raised will help our Bellaire Belles pay for uniforms, camps, and spring competitions.

All volunteers in HISD must register to be VIPS approved. Please register at least two weeks before your scheduled volunteer shift, as it can take three to five business days to complete the background check. Even if you were previously VIPS approved, you will need to register again as your approval expires at the end of each school year.

With so many exciting events happening at Pin Oak throughout the school year, we are not always able to have a student photographer present to take photos. Therefore, we are asking parents who attend POMS events and take photos to share their best images with us so we can include them in our school yearbook.
