CCC is Pin Oak’s most important fundraiser of the year, helping provide the programs, classroom resources, teacher support, and special experiences that make our school so amazing. 📚✨ And this year, we’re turning up the fun with a brand-new theme, NEW DONATION LEVELS + AWESOME INCENTIVES! |

| Big Shout-Out to Officer Farris👮♂️💙 We would like to give a special thank-you to HISD Officer Farris for the job he does each day to help keep our school community safe. We truly appreciate the time, patience, and professionalism he brings to campus every day. School drop-off and pick-up can be hectic, with so many students, parents, and cars moving through multiple spaces at the same time is a lot. Officer Farris does an important job making sure traffic keeps moving, parking and road rules are followed, and, most importantly, that our students can get to and from school safely. Thank you, Officer Farris, for looking out for our students, helping keep order during the busiest parts of the school day, and doing your job with professionalism and courtesy. We appreciate you and all that you do for our school! 👮♂️💙 |

ANOTHER - Big Shout-Out to Ms. Henry 🎭 Ms. Henry always helps me with my acting, supports me, and gives me tips for next time. She helped me become less shy. I was very shy at the beginning of 6th grade, and now I am way more confident in 7th grade. She is also very nice, does fun activities in class, and shows Charger spirit. This shows that she is a great theater teacher, and she teaches very good lessons. 🎭 |

Top 3 Reasons to Volunteer in the School Store! - Your student can come visit you in the store while you volunteer. Do you ever wish you could say hi to your student during the school day? Volunteer at the school store!
- Meet other Pin Oak parents. Each shift has at least 2 Pin Oak parent volunteers. By working the same shift throughout the year, you will have the opportunity to get to know each other in a fun environment.
- Give back to the Pin Oak community. Each day over 100 students shop at the student store. The proceeds from the store support the PTO teacher grants.
- Sign ups are for the 2026-2027 school year - if you can only sign up for a few weeks, please contact schoolstore@pinoakpto.org.
- We will provide training for new volunteers.
- Sign up for the group (A or B)/day(s) that works best for you (shifts are every other week). The 1st shift covers 6th grade lunch and the 2nd shift covers 7th/8th grade lunches.

The POMS Library is an award-winning center of reading, research, creativity, innovation, and relaxation that serves students of all fluencies and educational backgrounds. Our library program is built upon the engagement and agency of all types of readers (avid, occasional, struggling, reluctant) who keep it responsive and reflective of their voices, cultures, and feedback.
