Because of your support, students are now engaging in a comprehensive curriculum that fosters curiosity, empathy, and a stronger connection to the natural world!
Last Thursday, our Zoology students participated in a hands-on shark dissection, made possible through PTO grant support!
Many of our students are returning learners who previously took Zoology. This updated curriculum allows us to build on their prior knowledge with deeper, more varied instruction rather than repeating content. The clear, well-structured lesson plans also support instructional consistency while offering interactive activities to meet diverse learning styles.
In addition, the grant allowed us to purchase several specimens, so students are not only learning about animal anatomy but also gaining meaningful experiences that may inspire future zoologists or veterinarians!
