Dear Charger Parents and Families,

As we approach the final stretch before our upcoming holidays, we want to emphasize the importance of consistent student attendance. With only one week before Thanksgiving Break and twenty instructional days before Winter Break, every day of learning truly matters. We have a full and exciting schedule ahead, including district and campus assessments, our annual Faculty vs. Students Volleyball Game, and festive Ugly Sweater Fridays. Your child’s presence ensures they stay engaged and prepared.

A reminder that we will close out the Third Six Weeks Progress Report window this Friday. Please encourage your student to stay focused and complete any outstanding assignments as we wrap up this grading period.

We also want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible success of our Color Run. It could not have been more FUN. From our enthusiastic runners and walkers to the spirited spectators, everyone enjoyed the colorful excitement. A heartfelt thank-you to Dana George, Amy Ripper, Jean Lee, and Mallory Rissmiller for their outstanding leadership in organizing the event. We are also grateful to all the parents who volunteered their time to help keep our students safe and smiling throughout the day.

Thank you for your continued support and partnership. We look forward to a strong, joyful, and productive few weeks ahead.

Are you interested in discovering new opportunities to connect, create, and grow? Pin Oak Middle School offers a variety of clubs for every interest and skill level.

• Gardening Club – Meets Wednesdays from 4:00–5:30 p.m. 

• Crochet Club – Meets Thursdays from 4:15–5:15 p.m. in B House Commons. No experience needed; all levels welcome.

• Dungeons & Dragons Club – Meets biweekly in B126 from 4:00–5:30 p.m. (New members are still welcome to join).

• World Language Clubs – Spanish, German, French, Italian, Latin, and Mandarin clubs meet after school; check the schedule for meeting days and rooms.
