Photo Texas Photography Houston is coming back to campus on Friday, December 1(4 - 6 PM in MPR) for Fall Picture Retake Day. We will photograph all students who missed the original picture day, are new to the school or need to retake their photo.

All orders are Prepay. We do not email proofs. During the Prepay period, you can choose Ship to School for FREE or Ship to Home. Shipping charges will apply. (Some schools choose ship to home as the only option.)

Kona Ice will be at POMS after school on Friday, December 1 in the front parking lot near the entrance of the school.

All students that are interested in trying out for the baseball team must have a completed baseball form on file with Coach Fujiwara. You can obtain a baseball packet from the front office or in the boys coaches office. The second page of the packet must be completed and turned into Coach Fujiwara by the Friday before their tryouts (dates listed below). 

There are two tryouts, but students attend only one of them.

• If you are a pitcher or catcher:
  • You must turn in your form by Friday, December 1
  • Tryouts begin Dec. 4 – 8
  • Pitcher and catchers will also do all the drills the position players will do, along with the pitching and catching.
• If you are a position player:
  • You must turn in your form by Friday, December 8
  • Tryouts begin Dec. 11 – 15

All tryouts can end earlier or later due to the amount of participants or the weather.

The interest meeting took place during the week of Nov 13 for all levels at Team Time.

Bellaire High School presents our Annual Cheer Clinic on Saturday, December 2 from 9 AM to 1 PM. Registration opens at 8:30 AM and parents can goin for a performance at 1 PM in the auditorium.

Be a Cheerleader for the Day is open to Girls & Boys/K-8th Grade.

Pre-register before November 17th for $45. Cost is $50 starting November 18th.

This information is for students who are NOT already identified as a Gifted and Talented student. The district has updated its Gifted and Talented testing request process.

The POMS School Store is open during student lunches. Please refer below for full schedule:

• Monday, Wednesday and Friday - open for all lunches
• Tuesday - open until 1 PM (some Tuesdays we may be open for all lunches. Please contact the school store with any questions.)
• Thursday - open until 1 PM

The POMS Online School Store is open for business. ***Please note that online orders may take a few days to fulfill and you will be notified to have your student come pick up orders when they are ready.***

Volunteers: This is your chance to volunteer and be in the middle of the action! It's a great way to meet other parents and interact with the students in the school store. 

Signups are for the 2023-2024 school year and we require at least 2 people in the store at all times. The school store is open during the students' lunch periods. Please sign up for the group (A or B)/day(s) that works best for you (shifts are every other week).

All school volunteers are required to be VIPS approved.

All volunteers in HISD must register to be VIPS approved. Please register at least two weeks before your scheduled volunteer shift, as it can take three to five business days to complete the background check. Even if you were previously VIPS approved, you will need to register again as your approval expires at the end of each school year.
