To the Pin Oak Middle School Families and Community:
It is my honor and privilege that I write to introduce myself as your new principal. I look forward to getting to know each of you as we work together to continue the long-standing tradition of pride and excellence.
Prior to being appointed Principal of Pin Oak Middle School, I served students as a high school teacher, reading interventionist, instructional coach, literacy coordinator, and dean of instruction. For the past three years I have proudly served as Dean of Students at West Briar Middle School. In addition to a variety of instructional and leadership experiences, I bring to Pin Oak a commitment to ensure equity and success for all students, a passion for the development of excellence in teaching and learning, and a promise to do my best for and with you every day.
I have a strong belief that it is people that make a school great. Because of the amazing people at Pin Oak, the school has established a reputation for exceptional student achievement both in and out of the classroom. I look forward to building on this success by honoring traditions, listening to stakeholder feedback, and observing the existing teaching and learning processes.
