Pin Oak Family,

2020 Charger Camp:

Our Charger Camp (September 1-3) will be a drive-thru event this year. We will pass out schedules, textbooks, school supplies (if pre-ordered), uniforms (if pre-ordered), student agendas, and yearbooks from last year. Yearbooks are also available for $55 (cash or check). Drive-thru for those items will be in the front circle drive of the school.

Chromebooks are available for any student who would like to use one. Please ask for one at your assigned Charger Camp time. There will be a separate drive-thru for Chromebooks in the back of the school.

*Virtual TEAMS Orientation! You will receive written instructions for how to connect with us when you pick up your bags that morning.

School Day "Dress Rehearsal":

On Friday, September 4th, students will get to visit all 8 classes virtually for short 15 minute sessions. This will give them a chance to meet their teachers and practice using the technology. You will find a hard copy of the important instructions in the Charger Camp materials you pick up Sept. 1-3. We will start the morning at 8:30 a.m. and then head to class. Students will find the links to their classes in the HUB. The parent tutorial for the HUB will be helpful and is available here. We know there will be hiccups as students and teachers try to find each other for class. It will take time to adjust just like the first couple of weeks of "normal" school. We also expect them to be a little sleepy, so start thinking about a routine at home that gets them ready to engage at 8:30 a.m. each morning. School is starting soon!
