I cannot tell you how excited we are to get the year started!
It's been a busy week getting our Chromebooks ready to distribute and scheduling students in classes. We have established safety protocols to do our best to ensure the health of our staff, so we all are ready to greet students September 8th for classes.
Thank you to our PTO board for sorting uniforms, supplies, and agenda books in preparation for pick-up during Charger Camp. You guys are truly awesome! We will keep problem-solving and planning together as we focus on the students and learning. #StrongerTogether

Upcoming Parent & Student Meetings:
I'm excited to welcome all of our families at an evening TEAMS meeting this week. I will share information about our virtual schedule, academic and social supports, Charger Camp details, plus answer a few questions. We will send the TEAMS link through email, plus post it on the website the day of the meeting.
- 6th Grade Students, Parents & Guardians: Tuesday, 8/25 @ 6 p.m.
- 7th & 8th Grade Students, Parents & Guardians: Thursday, 8/27 @ 6 p.m.
Schedules & Houses:
New students will receive an email Wednesday, 8/26, with their House assignment. Students are divided evenly between the two houses, so changes cannot be made. I understand it is a hot topic each year, but our students adjust and make new friends. Our Connection Groups will also be a big help for building friendships this year.
2020 Charger Camp:
Our Charger Camp (September 1-3) will be a drive-thru event this year. We will pass out schedules, textbooks, school supplies, uniforms (if pre-ordered), student agendas, and yearbooks from last year. Yearbooks are also available for $55 (cash or check).

- Tuesday, September 1st: 6th Grade
- Wednesday, September 2nd: 7th Grade
- Thursday, September 3rd: 8th Grade
Charger Camp Schedule
- 8:00 - 10:30 a.m.: House A
- 11:00 - 1:30 p.m.: House B
- 2:00 - 4:30 p.m.: House C
- 6:00 - 7:00 p.m.: Virtual TEAMS Orientation! You will receive written instructions for how to connect with us when you pick up your bags that morning
School Day "Dress Rehearsal":
On Friday, September 4th, students will get to visit all 8 classes virtually for short 15 minute sessions. This will give them a chance to meet their teachers and practice using the technology. You will find a hard copy of the important instructions in the Charger Camp materials you pick up Sept. 1-3. We will start the morning at 8:30 a.m. and then head to class.
Our goal is 100% attendance the first day of school:
