Thank you to all of the Pin Oak families, teachers, staff, and friends who contributed to our Winter Storm Relief Fund. Due to your generosity, we raised $6,750 for families that were impacted by the Winter Storm Uri. The funds were used to purchase HEB gift cards for each family.

Starting Sunday, April 11th, Pin Oak Middle School PTO kicks off its annual auction to support educational programs and enrichment. The “Bid From Your Bed” Pajama Jam is a 100% virtual and online auction this year, where you can even “Bid From Your Bed” in your pajamas if you like!

In addition to the auction with round-the-clock bidding, this week-long celebration will include school spirit days, spirit nights at local restaurants, a school-wide pajama party, and raffles with exciting prizes!

This annual PTO fundraiser is especially critical due to increased health safety needs resulting from the coronavirus pandemic. Much of the PTO’s fundraising dollars goes to hand sanitizing stations, medical-grade air purifiers, and other necessary items to keep our students, teachers, and staff safe at school.

Now, more than ever, we need your help. 

If you would like to donate items, services, gift certificates, vacation home rentals, unique opportunities, or a monetary gift, please email the POMS PTO Auction Committee at auction@pinoakpto.org. All donations are 100% tax-deductible.

Get Your Copy: Pin Oak 2020-2021 yearbooks are available for purchase from Balfour for $50. We are documenting this year in a special way and there will be fewer copies available so preorder your book today! Deadline to purchase is April 30th.

Be in the Book: Upload your photos of Pin Oak students to the Balfour ImageShare app (code 115643) with student's name, date, and what's going on in the photo and you'll have a chance to be in the yearbook! We need sports and other physical activities, where you’ve been this school year (even if it was just home), birthdays, hobbies, pandemic fashion (masks and full outfits), virtual learning, what you did over spring break...anything! Deadline to submit is March 21st.

Missed School Portraits: If you didn't take a school portrait on campus but still want to be pictured in the yearbook, please upload a portrait photo to the Balfour ImageShare app (code 115643) with student's first and last name. Photo should be vertical, well lit, in focus, and show the student's head and shoulders, student turned slightly to their right, in school appropriate attire against a plain background (if shooting against a wall, stand a few feet away from it to avoid a shadow). Include the words “school portrait” in the description. Deadline to submit is March 21st.

Order your Charger polos, sweatshirts & spirit shirts through the POMS Online School Store! Yard signs, car magnets and umbrellas are now also available for order!

To order, log into your Membership Toolkit account (the same way you access school directory) or create a new account if you don't already have one. You can pay for your items through PayPal or with a credit/debit card.

Once you have purchased your items, you will be contacted by the school store volunteers regarding picking up the items.

Students must wear our school colors each day. They can wear a polo, spirit shirt, t-shirt, or sweatshirt in grey, white, or royal blue. This is for supervision and safety reasons since students will be outside. All pants/shorts must be school appropriate length.

Just a reminder that due to COVID-19 safety protocols, the front office is unable to accept deliveries for students. This includes parents dropping off lunches, instruments, etc. Thank you for your help in keeping our campus safe and healthy!

Our teachers are being diligent with cleaning the desks and work areas. If you would like to help us keep our campus safe and healthy by purchasing additional cleaning products, please see our Amazon Wish List. All items will be shipped directly to the school. Thank you!
